National College Brukethal, Sibiu main gym has received the brand new maple flooring Duracushion II, made by Connor USA and certified by FIBA for top competition level.

The city of Sibiu is the host of the 2006 U21 European Basketball Championship. The gym of the Brukenthal College now has a wood flooring similar to several NBA teams.
